Approving & Rejecting

When a task requires your decision, you can approve (complete) it or reject it. These actions advance the workflow accordingly.

When you're satisfied with the information and ready to approve, click the Complete button.

Completing a task:

  • Marks the step as done
  • Records who completed it and when
  • Advances the request to the next step in the process

Rejecting a Task

If the task doesn't meet requirements, use the Reject action.

Rejecting a task sends it back for review. You may be asked to provide a reason for the rejection. The requester will be notified of the rejection.

Re-opening a Completed Task

If you completed a task by mistake or need to make changes, you can re-open it.

The Re-open option is available on completed tasks. Re-opening a task restores it to an active state so it can be modified and completed again.
